Those of us who create with music, lets look to art to add to our worship.
Those of us who create with painting or drama or movement or spoken word, you have a place in the church to use your gift to worship.
How awesome would it be if we all came together and made truly BEAUTIFUL THINGS.
Ok I am a BIG fan of standup comedy. And my favorite standup artist was born just north of where I live in McComb, Mississippi. Any guesses?……

You can find influences for your creativity anywhere. My question to you is in your life, who influences you?
You guys know that my taste in music keeps changing. Everyone knows how amazing the song “How He Loves” is and I think no church sings it better than mine. But that is not the only amazing song that John Mark McMillan wrote. Right now these songs are wrecking me in a good way and I want to share them with you. Tell me, what music is influencing your life right now?

The video excites me because it reminds me who I am but also because there are some amazing and creative people out there pointing us in the right direction.
Check out Salomon Ligthelm’s and see what he can do with just a 13″ Macbook Pro and Canon 7D camera. Then tell me that this doesn’t excite you to be a Child of Light.

Thanks to ChurchMag for introducing me to this!
I talk alot on this blog and I post alot of stuff for you to digest, but sometimes simple is better. And while I am sure I am an entertaining read, I would really love to hear more from you and do less entertaining. So I am changing my usual Wed. post to a wordless one. All I am gonna post on these days is a picture and ask you to tell me what that picture does to you, or how it makes you feel, or what it makes you think. There is no right or wrong answer. I just cannot wait to see what you amazing people have inside you…….. SO
What’s the emotion you feel when you see this?
